Here is some of the carving that will be done all over the sides and top. When the finish is applied the lines will become substantially darker and pop out at you. There are also many other doodads that will be added later.

Well the the base has been cleaned up and glued to the top. I then started working on the side ears (so to speak) and the top plate.I also added the back. Nothing has been glued yet, except for the base because there is minor carving yet to be done on the top and sides. It's weird looking is it not? Do I have your interest yet?
