Next we add the Bottom and some feet.
The bottom (same as Top) is 1 x 5's
glued together using biscuits and Elmers.

We first make the box itself.
It is 3/4 in. plywood.

Back to the Gingerbread Clock. I installed everything just to
make sure there won't be any surprises when the clock is
finished and I assemble it. Now I will take it apart and sand it, stain it, apply the Tung Oil and wax it. Next photo should be a finished
clock.

After gluing up some cherry wood I saved from my brothers kitchen cabinet doors he replaced. A little band saw and outer edge router work and walaa, this what came out.Next is the cutout for the clock insert, some cherry stain and a nice Tung Oil finish.

I thought I would take a break from the Gingerbread Clock to make a clock for my niece.
